Der TTC wünscht allen eine besinnliche Weihnachtszeit in dieser sonderbaren Zeit
Der Blick ist auf den Gegner gerichtet. Ein letztes durchatmen, ein letzter Moment der Konzentration. Dann verlässt der kleine Plastikball die flache Hand, fliegt einige Zentimeter nach oben, bevor ihn der Schläger auf seinem Weg nach unten trifft. Der Ball wird angeschnitten auf der Seite des Gegners platziert und dann geht alles ganz schnell. Schlag auf Schlag folgen in der reaktionsschnellsten Ballsportart der Welt, ehe einer der beiden seine Chance sieht. Der ganze Körper ist gespannt und ein letzter Schlag. Ein lautes „Tschuuuu“ hallt durch die Halle, als der kleine Ball einschlägt. Applaus von der eigenen Mannschaft und ein tolles Gefühl, dass durch den Körper fährt.
Leider können wir diese Situationen in der letzten Zeit höchstens noch im Fernsehen begutachten. Corona hat uns auch unseren liebsten Sport vorläufig weggenommen und dennoch tun wir alle gerade das Wichtigste, das wir tun können: nichts. Vielleicht ist es gar nicht so verkehrt in unserer schnellen Welt auch Mal ein langsames und besinnliches Weihnachten im kleinen Kreis unserer Familie abzuhalten.
Hierfür wünschen wir vom Vorstand des TTC allen eine ruhige, besinnliche und vor Allem gesunde Weihnachtszeit. Und wir versprechen euch, sobald wir euch wieder ein sicheres Training anbieten können, werden wir alles nur menschenmögliche tun, dass wir das auch ermöglichen. Bis dahin wollen wir euch nur eines sagen: Danke für eure Treue! Bleibt gesund. T.M.
